About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our team at Bundamba. This role suits a skilled individual with broad fabrication experience, strong stainless‑steel capability, and sound understanding of hygienic design principles. The ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and as part of a maintenance‑focused manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform stainless steel TIG fabrication to hygienic/food‑grade standards

• Complete general fabrication including MIG welding, cutting, folding, rolling and assembly

• Support maintenance teams with breakdown repairs and corrective works on beverage manufacturing equipment (conveyors, tanks, fillers, CIP lines)

• Read and produce fabrication drawings and site sketches

• Ensure WHS compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space) and flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays when required

Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Metal Fabrication/Welding

• Extensive TIG fabrication experience in hygienic or food‑grade settings

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong problem‑solving skills, autonomy, and a positive team‑player mindset

• Experience in workshop or industrial manufacturing environments, with Australian citizenship or permanent residency
