Powdercoater

Oxworks is Australia’s largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of quality fencing products with over 300 staff across 21 locations nationally. Operating for over 20 years, we continue to be a market leader in the industry.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Crestmead manufacturing team as a Powerdercoater, this is a full-time role minimum of 38hrs a week Mon-Fri plus OT as required

The Role:

Reporting to the Powdercoating Team Leader, the Powdercoater’s primary focus is to:

• Complete the various day-to-day activities of the Powdercoating department focusing on producing high quality finished product in a productive, efficient and safe manner
• Achieve 100% DIFOT whilst minimising unnecessary reworks
• Improve efficiency and reduce operating costs through accountability to standard operating procedures
• Provide coaching and training to new team members as requested by the Team Leader
• Promote teamwork between the manufacturing departments to ensure all are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in the area of Safety
• Ensure Powdercoating is compliant with Company policies and procedures at all times
• Execute directives that support the business strategy

In summary, the Powdercoater is a key person in the Powdercoating department and is responsible for producing high quality product in a productive, efficient and safe manner.
