Pressure Testing Technician (Mechanical Fitters / Plumbing Apprentices)

Combined Weld is recruiting Pressure Testing Technicians for upcoming project-based work across the Perth metropolitan area. Project durations range from a few weeks to several months

We welcome applications from:

• Plumbing Apprentices (minimum Year 2)
• Experienced Mechanical Fitters
• Candidates with pressure testing, commissioning, or industrial maintenance experience

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
• Set up and operate pressure testing equipment
• Inspect, test, and verify piping systems and pressure equipment
• Complete testing documentation and reports
• Follow safety procedures and client specifications
• Work as part of a project team across various industrial sites

Requirements

• Minimum Year 2 Plumbing Apprentice OR qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Current White Card
• Current Driver Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to safety
• Full Australian working rights

Desirable

• Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter or Plumbing)
• Experience with pressure testing, piping, commissioning, oil & gas, mining, or industrial maintenance
