Our Client

Our client is a cable manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD. They are looking for machine operators with LF licenses who can work on a fixed rotating roster (weekly).

About the Role:

You will be working with a team operating various machines (training provided).

This will be a long-term ongoing position to go permanent full-time after 4-6 months depending on your work performance and attendance.

Shift Details

• Fixed rotating roster (weekly rotation) | Monday to Thursday roster (38 hours per week)

• Week 1 & 3: Morning Shift

  • Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pm

  • Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm

• Week 2 & 4: Night Shift

  • Monday to Wednesday: 4:00pm - 2:00am

  • Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am

Pay Rates

• Morning Shift: $33.38/hr + Super

• Night Shift: $38.39/hr + Super

Duties and responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery

• Loading and moving materials using a forklift

• Conducting quality checks on finished products

• Assisting with machine setups and changeovers

• Working with the production team to meet daily targets

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Following safety and quality procedures

• General factory and production duties as required

About you:

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experienc

• Product assembly experience.

• Knowledge of how to use hand tools.

• A forklift license is a MUST (no experience required)

• Can work on a fixed rotating roster (see roster sample above)

• Physically fit to do manual handling duties.
