About the Role
Are you a Qualified Motor Mechanic keen to secure an opportunity to carry out preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and approved modifications in a clean environment to well-maintained CFA appliances?
This full-time, ongoing vacancy will see you work in our Ballarat workshop with all tools and equipment supplied including uniform and PPE. The working hours are from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday (with a 9-day fortnight).
Grade 1a District Mechanical Officers carry out mechanical tasks associated with the maintenance and servicing of fleet assets as directed by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) ensuring relevant safety standards and CFA maintenance procedures are adhered to.
