Karan-An Asian Boutique Restaurant is a growing, family-owned restaurant specialising in Filipino and Asian cuisine. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard.

• Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal specials.

• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control are maintained.

• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations.

• Manage stock rotation, inventory, and minimise food wastage.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

• Train and support junior kitchen staff where required.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

• At least 2 years of relevant chef experience.

• Strong understanding of commercial kitchen operations.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Experience with Filipino or Asian cuisine is highly regarded but not essential.
