PMFresh is a fast-growing and profitable Australian food manufacturing business with significant opportunity ahead of us, and we're looking for an ambitious HSE Advisor to join our team at Homebush.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your entire day behind a desk.

You'll be working directly with operational leaders and frontline teams, getting hands-on exposure to incident investigations, risk management, workers compensation, return to work, audits, SafeWork requirements and real operational safety challenges.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with our National HSE team and site leadership to:

• Conduct incident investigations, 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis

• Complete risk assessments and help implement practical controls

• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and safety observations

• Support workers compensation and Return to Work cases

• Develop suitable duties and Return to Work Plans

• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and safety communications

• Support compliance with NSW WHS legislation and SafeWork NSW requirements

• Monitor corrective actions and make sure they actually work

• Help manage risks involving forklifts, mobile plant, machinery, LOTO, manual handling, chemicals and contractors

• Support incident, hazard and HSE management

• Work directly with managers and frontline employees to improve safety every day

Who we're looking for

We're particularly interested in someone who has 2–4 years of practical WHS experience and is ready to take the next step.

You'll ideally have:

• Certificate IV in WHS or higher

• Hands-on incident investigation experience

• Experience completing risk assessments

• Exposure to workers compensation, injury management and Return to Work

• A good understanding of NSW WHS requirements

• Confidence working with operational teams and speaking with people at all levels

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing would be highly regarded.

RTW Coordinator, First Aid or formal incident investigation training would be an advantage, but we're also interested in people who are keen to develop these capabilities.
