Salary: $80,000–$90,000 PLUS SUPER

Preservation Technologies (ABM 12 110 751 918) is a building company predominately focused on remedial projects on multi-story class 2 buildings.  The business has been operating for more than 22 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse drawings and specifications to identify the necessary materials, dimensions, and installation methods.

• Select suitable timber and materials, then prepare layouts for construction.

• Cut, assemble, and secure parts to build frameworks, fittings, and structures.

• Remove old, and install new doors, windows and balustrades.

• Accurately cut and shape wood joints to the required dimensions.

• Construct concrete formwork as required.

• Repair and renovate existing structures and fittings.

• Work with other materials such as plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 3 years of full-time relevant industry experience (or equivalent part-time experience) specifically in class 2 remedial construction sites.

• In-depth knowledge of carpentry principles, construction methods, and building standards.

• Proficiency with construction tools and equipment.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance requirements.

• Attention to detail and precision in measurements and construction processes.
