Metal Roofing Account Manager

Metal Roofing & Building Supplies is a trusted supplier of metal roofing systems, components, and building materials serving contractors, builders, and homeowners. We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager to grow and support our customer base.

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with contractors, builders, and distributors, driving sales of metal roofing products and building supplies. This role combines account management, business development, and product consultation to help customers find the right solutions for their projects.

• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the metal roofing and building supplies market

• Provide product recommendations and technical guidance on metal roofing systems, panels, trim, fasteners, and accessories

• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and pricing agreements to customers

• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in CRM software

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales, account management, or a related role (building materials, construction, or roofing industry experience preferred)

• Strong understanding of metal roofing products and installation practices a plus

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to read basic construction plans/specs is a plus

• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

• Valid driver's license
