Re.Group is an Australian-owned company focused on providing solutions for recycling and recovery of resources from waste. Our vision is to create a wasteless society—where all resources that become waste are reused and are not disposed.
At the heart of Re.Group is our focus on positive community impact. We collaborate with charities, private organisations, and the Government to benefit local communities.
Re.Group operates the Canning Vale Recycling Facility, a large-scale, complex recycling and resource recovery operation in Western Australia. The site incorporates a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics), and Green Waste operations. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead site operations, embed strong safety and performance disciplines, and deliver consistent operational and commercial outcomes.
About the roleLead the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Canning Vale facility in line with Re.Group standardsChampion a strong safety culture, ensuring HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures are embedded and consistently appliedLead, coach, and develop site leadership and operational teams, with clear accountability and performance expectationsEnsure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including audit readiness and reportingDevelop and deliver the site operating plan, translating business objectives into clear, measurable KPIsDrive operational performance, throughput, and cost efficiency through continuous improvement and disciplined executionManage site budgets, cost control, and financial performance to meet agreed targetsMaintain and actively use plant capacity and performance models to monitor efficiency and outputWork closely with engineering and maintenance teams to improve plant reliability, uptime, and process performance
About youProven experience leading complex, industrial operations with strong safety and compliance outcomesBackground in recycling, waste processing, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environmentsDemonstrated ability to lead frontline and leadership teams in a high-throughput operational settingStrong operational discipline with a continuous improvement mindsetPractical, solutions-focused approach with sound mechanical aptitudeFinancial and commercial capability, including experience managing budgets and operational cost performance
