About the role
This is your chance to be at the heart of the Melbourne City FC matchday experience.
As a member of the Event Operations Crew, you'll be working to create memorable matchday experiences for fans. You'll be involved in the planning, preparation and operational delivery of our A-League Men's and Women's matches and ensure a smooth and professional matchday for players and fans alike.
What you'll be doing
This role is involved in multiple areas of matchday experience, including:
Event Operations
Support the planning, preparation, setup, operation and pack down of match days, events and activations
Load, unload, transport and position equipment across venues
Work with venue staff and contractors to achieve matchday objectives
Event Experience & Fan Engagement
Operate interactive experiences and activation zones, and maintain zone presentation
Assist with the distribution of promotional items, giveaways and competition prizes
Support commercial partners and event stakeholders in the delivery of promotional initiatives
Match Operations
Coordinate match day participants, including ball kids, stretcher bearers, flag bearers, player mascots and other participants
Assist with participant registration, briefing and uniform distribution
Support pre-match, half time and post-match ceremonies
What we're looking for
Minimum 18 years old
Confident and comfortable engaging with children, families and members of the public
Ability to remain calm, helpful and professional in a fast-paced environment
Physically capable of manual duties, including lifting and moving equipment
Reliable and punctual
Current Victorian Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid certificate (desirable but not essential)
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or events (desirable but not essential)
