About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transport Modeller to join our Planning & Advisory team in Sydney. In this role, you will deliver high-quality transport modelling services; developing, testing, and applying models that support informed decision-making for a wide range of projects.

As a Transport Modeller, you will play a key role in producing and delivering robust modelling outcomes that meet both client expectations and technical standards. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure timely, coordinated, and high-quality project delivery, while contributing to the commercial success of the team.

Key Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Deliver transport modelling tasks to industry-leading technical standardsDevelop, calibrate, and apply transport models to support project outcomesCollaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless deliveryManage scope, risks, and timelines across multiple projectsPrepare high-quality technical reports and proposalsPresent findings to clients, committees, and public forums

About You

You are a proactive and analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic project environment. You bring a strong technical foundation along with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Suitable Applicants Will Be/have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Planning, or related discipline3+ years’ experience in transport modellingProven ability to independently deliver technical tasks across small to medium projectsSolid understanding of transport modelling theory and methodologiesExperience with modelling software such as TRIPS, Voyager, EMME, Visum, SATURN, and TransCADMicro-simulation modelling experience (e.g. VISSIM, Paramics, Aimsun)Intersection modelling and analysis using SIDRAStrong quantitative analysis and data handling capabilitiesStrong project management and time management skillsExperience managing client relationships and expectations
