About the Role

European Catering invites you to work in this exciting, fast-paced environment where you can expand your culinary talents to the next level and create mouthwatering dishes you can be proud of for years to come.

As our chef, you will:|

· Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

• Rotate stock items as per established procedure
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our preparation and serving hours
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques continuously meet guidelines
• Training of apprentices and work experience staff

This is a permanent full-time role to become an ongoing part of our catering team.

Skills and Experience Required

• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Certificate III including at least two years of experience as a cook
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional communication skills with a strong command of the English language (verbal & written)
• A professionally groomed and neat presentation
• A good understanding of the WHS and HACCP procedures
• Full-Time employment rights to work in Australia with no restrictions (only Citizens & Permanent Residents may apply)
• A current full driver’s license

Salary: $ 77,000-$82,000

Pay: $77,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
