Matchday Retail Assistant

About the role

This is your chance to be at the heart of the Melbourne City FC matchday experience.

As a member of the Retail Crew, you'll be working to deliver the highest quality customer service to our passionate supporters, from both outside venues and from within. We ware offering the opportunity to build on your skills in customer service, sales engagement, team work and communication.

What you'll be doing

This role goes beyond the traditional retail role, offering exposure to:

• Matchday retail operations

• Merchandise sales

• Event setup and packdown

• Online order fulfilment

• Stock management and stocktakes

What we're looking for

• Minimum 18 years old 

• Minimum 6 months experience in retail or customer service 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Team player with a positive can-do attitude 

• Ability to remain calm under pressure 

• Reliable and punctual 

• Well presented with a professional attitude and demeanor 

• Physically capable of manual duties, including lifting and moving equipment/stock 

• Current Victorian Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) 

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) 

• Current First Aid certificate (desirable but not essential)
