Manufacturing Technician / Panel Beater

Form 3D CNC Pty Ltd is a growing Australian manufacturing company specialising in precision CNC machining, fabrication, and innovative 3D manufacturing solutions across the aviation, automotive, aerospace & marine industries. We're looking for a skilled Panel Beater who is ready to take their craftsmanship into a stable, modern manufacturing environment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you'll apply your fabrication, fibre-glassing, metalworking and finishing skills to produce high-quality components and assemblies. You'll work with modern CNC machinery, fabrication equipment, and a supportive team committed to quality and continuous improvement.

Full training will be provided on our products and manufacturing processes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Fabricating, assembling, and finishing precision plugs for the aviation, automotive, aerospace & marine industries.

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Operating manufacturing equipment and CNC machinery (training provided where required).

• Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.

• Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Working closely with the production team to meet delivery schedules.

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience as a Panel Beater – panel beating qualifications are NOT essential.

• General fibre-glassing, sanding skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

• Experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and workshop machinery.

• A strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.

• The ability to learn new manufacturing processes and equipment.

• A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Experience That Would Be an Advantage

• Experience operating CNC machinery.

• Forklift licence.

• Manual driver’s license.

• Welding experience (MIG/TIG).

• Manufacturing or fabrication experience.

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
