Build the kindergarten program you want to teach in.Journey Early Learning Lucknow is a brand-new 88-place, five-room centre opening in November 2026.As an Early Childhood Teacher within the founding team, you’ll help establish a kindergarten program that reflects the children, families and community around you.You’ll have the opportunity to create a learning environment where children’s voice, agency, curiosity and ideas genuinely influence the curriculum.This is about more than delivering an existing program.It’s an opportunity to help build one.Teach with a team around you.As an Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll:Design and deliver meaningful kindergarten learning experiencesObserve, assess and extend children’s learningDevelop a responsive program informed by children’s strengths, interests and ideasCreate opportunities that support children’s voice, autonomy and agencyBuild strong and respectful partnerships with familiesSupport children’s transition to schoolWork collaboratively with educators across the centreContribute professional knowledge to reflection and continuous improvementPartner closely with your Educational Leader and Centre ManagerCreate a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for every child
Supported to grow your teaching practice.At Journey, you won’t be expected to develop your teaching practice in isolation.Your Educational Leader will work alongside you, supported by your Centre Manager, Centre Quality Manager and Journey’s broader professional ecosystem.You’ll also have access to Journey’s ECT mentoring approach, including coaching, professional feedback and support for provisionally registered teachers progressing through the VIT inquiry process.Through Journey Academy and our broader learning and development opportunities, you’ll have continued opportunities to grow your practice and career.What you’ll bringYou will ideally hold:An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualificationCurrent VIT registration, or eligibility to obtain registrationStrong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality StandardAn understanding of contemporary early childhood pedagogyConfidence designing, implementing and evaluating kindergarten programsStrong communication and family-partnership skillsA collaborative approach to working with educators and leadersA commitment to inclusive practice and children’s agencyA genuine commitment to child safety and safeguarding
