Our client is a long-established and highly regarded professional services firm in Queensland, providing accounting, taxation and advisory services to a diverse client base including SMEs, multinational corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. You’ll join a specialist advisory team with a strong focus on complex tax matters, working across a broad range of technical areas while contributing to both client-facing advisory work and internal knowledge development. 

The Role: 

• Conduct in-depth tax research across complex technical matters  

• Provide expert advice on corporate, trust, partnership, GST, FBT, CGT, residency, transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and withholding tax issues  

• Analyse complex transactions and prepare detailed taxation advice  

• Draft tax advice letters, reports, and internal technical materials  

• Support both advisory and compliance teams with technical input  

• Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders  

• Contribute to training and knowledge development within the firm  

About You: 

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Law (or related field)  

• CA/CPA/CTA qualified (or equivalent)  

• 5+ years’ experience in Australian public practice  

• Strong exposure to tax advisory and/or compliance work  

• Advanced understanding of Australian tax legislation  

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
