Automotive Cadet Service Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Automotive Cadet Service Advisor to join our award-winning Service Centre in Fawkner.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start and develop their career in the automotive industry. Previous Service Advisor experience is not required, as ongoing training and support will be provided.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual who is eager to learn, develop new skills and build a long-term career within the automotive industry.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside our experienced Service team, you will learn all aspects of the Service Advisor role, including:

• Providing outstanding customer service and acting as a key link between our customers and workshop

• Greeting customers and assisting with their vehicle servicing requirements

• Operating service drive way – checking in vehicles

• Learning how to inform and consult with customers regarding vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance

• Keeping customers updated throughout the servicing process

• Assisting with customer enquiries and providing information on our products and services

• Liaising with technicians and workshop control regarding vehicle progress and status

• Developing an understanding of dealership systems, processes, policies and procedures

• Building genuine relationships with customers and understanding their individual needs

• Working closely with the wider Service team to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in developing a career within the automotive industry

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Is confident, friendly and enjoys working with customers

• Is organised and willing to learn

• Has good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks

• Is reliable, motivated and committed to developing within the role

• Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems

• Works well as part of a team

• Previous customer service, retail or hospitality experience would be advantageous, but is not essential

• No previous automotive or Service Advisor experience is required
