The SWS Stuttering Unit is a speech pathology team that specialises in working with clients who stutter. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician develop and consolidate skills specific to working with this client group. This clinician will have opportunity to work with people who stutter across intake, assessment and throughout the treatment process, supported by experienced senior clinicians.

Selection Criteria

Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time managementDemonstrated commitment to continued professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.Demonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in assessment and management of stuttering and modifying and adapting assessments and interventions to meet the need of culturally and linguistically diverse populationsApplicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
