The Role

We’re looking for a motivated Mechanic Apprentice who is eager to learn the trade and build a long-term career in the automotive industry. You will work alongside experienced technicians, gaining practical skills across a wide range of vehicles while completing your formal apprenticeship training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist qualified mechanics with routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs
• Perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision
• Learn and apply safe workshop practices and correct use of tools and equipment
• Help keep the workshop clean, organised, and well-stocked
• Accurately record work performed and parts used
• Support the team with vehicle preparation and customer vehicle care
• Attend and successfully complete required TAFE / RTO training blocks and assessments

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine interest in cars and mechanical work
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic mechanical aptitude or prior experience (school shop, part-time work, or personal projects) is an advantage but not essential
• Current manual driver’s licence (or ability to obtain one) preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
• Commitment to completing a full automotive mechanical apprenticeship
