Branch Administrator – Cairns (Part-Time)

Mechanical Project Services (MPS) is a leading national provider of HVAC services, specialising in the installation, repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. With a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, we have built a solid reputation across the industry.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Branch Administrator to join our Cairns Branch.

This is a part-time position.

Training

A one-week full-time paid training period will be required in Brisbane upon commencement.
Flights and accommodation will be fully covered.

About the Role

You will be working closely with a team of tradespeople and apprentices, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the branch.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Task raising and ongoing task management

• Scheduling and coordination of technicians

• Professional correspondence with clients and suppliers

• Purchase order creation and management

• Assisting the Branch Manager and Supervisor with operational enquiries

• Supporting subcontractor inductions and onboarding

• General service and branch administration duties

About You

You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced trade or service environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities are essential.

Previous experience in administration within construction, trade, or service-based industries will be highly regarded.
