Trade customers don't have time to be put on hold. When a site runs short of fixings mid-pour, they want someone who picks up, knows the product, and gets it sorted, first time.

That's the job.

Drillfast supplies fasteners, fixings and specialist products to Australia's commercial construction industry. We're a Brisbane-owned business in a serious growth phase, and our Customer Service team sits at the centre of it,  price quoting, order entry, problem solving and building the kind of relationships that keep customers coming back.

This is not a script-reading call centre role. You'll own your actions.

What you'll be doing

• Taking care of customer enquiries, quotes and sales orders end to end, phone, email and counter

• Turning enquiries into orders, and orders into repeat business

• Making proactive outbound calls to follow up quotes

• Working closely with Warehouse, Purchasing and our Sales team to get product where it needs to be, when it needs to be there

• Solving the curveballs, short supply, special orders, urgent site requirements; with a calm head

• Keeping our data clean and our customers informed

What you'll bring

• Experience in a customer-facing role in trade, industrial or construction supply or genuine product knowledge you're keen to put to work

• The confidence to hold your own in a conversation with a site foreman, a project manager, or a trades person.

• Strong attention to detail, quoting and order accuracy matter here

• A growth mindset, and the initiative to find the opportunity in every call

• Comfort working in an ERP/CRM system (NetSuite experience is highly regarded, not essential)

• Australian work rights
