At JDSi Consulting Engineers, we do electrical engineering differently. Our Electrical Team is not a bolt-on service, we work as part of the civil project delivery process, helping shape infrastructure and land development projects from concept through to construction.

This means our engineers develop a deeper understanding of the entire project lifecycle, including planning, approvals, design coordination, construction considerations and client outcomes. We don't simply design part of the solution; we help shape the entire project.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who wants to build a long-term future with a growing team and play a real role in the next stage of our electrical capability. 

About the Role

You will deliver electrical engineering design and technical support across infrastructure, utilities and land development projects, working closely with our civil, design and project delivery teams. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys problem solving, collaboration and seeing projects through beyond the design desk.

• Key Responsibilities
  Deliver electrical engineering designs for land development and infrastructure projects

• Prepare technical documentation, reports and design deliverables

• Undertake or support Earth Potential Rise (EPR) assessments

• Undertake or interpret Wenner Method soil resistivity testing

• Liaise with clients, authorities, contractors and project stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering

• Full permanent working rights in Australia

• Proven experience delivering electrical infrastructure projects

• Strong working knowledge of Western Power standards, processes and requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in MicroStation

• Experience with Earth Potential Rise (EPR) studies and assessments

• Chartered, NER or working towards professional accreditation is highly regarded
