Account Payable Data Entry Clerk

Shepherd are seeking an Account Payable Data Entry Clerk to join our finance team in our Mitchell office. Our newest team member will have a can-do attitude, is detail orientated, wants to be part of a close-knit team and thrives in routine-based environments.

The Role

Providing administrative support to the finance team through:

• Accurately entering supplier invoices into our project accounting integration system

• Handling incoming phone calls, directing enquiries to the appropriate team member

• Greeting clients and visitors warmly and professionally

• Assisting with End of Month preparation and reconciliation

This fulltime position would suit someone early in their administrative career looking for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic workplace where there is support and growth into many areas of administration, or a seasoned administrator looking for a change of pace, where they can focus on data entry and let their attention to detail shine.           

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Attention to detail

• Strong typing skills

• Time management

• Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) skills

• Reading and comprehension is essential

Desirable

• Previous experience in a similar administrative role

• Familiarity with software such as ProScan+, Procore, MYOB
