Service Co-Ordinator

About the role

Working closely with the Service Manager and Operations team, you will be the link between customers, technicians, parts and management team, making sure every job has an owner, a next action and a clear pathway through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule technicians across daily service requirements

• Receive, review and prioritise incoming work orders

• Create and maintain accurate jobs within ServiceM8

• Communicate appointments, updates and delays with customers

• Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as priorities change

• Track jobs awaiting parts, approvals and return visits

• Follow up quotations and schedule approved work

• Identify jobs that are becoming delayed or stagnant

• Review completed jobs for notes, photos, materials and required documentation

• Help ensure completed work moves quickly through to invoicing

About you

• Experience in service coordination, scheduling, dispatch or trade administration

• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills

• Confidence dealing with technicians, customers and suppliers

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

• The ability to remain calm when the schedule changes

• Experience with ServiceM8, simPRO or similar software would be highly regarded

• Experience within electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, appliance servicing, facilities maintenance or another field-service environment would be advantageous
