We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Clerk to join our busy and friendly legal team in Hobart. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong conveyancing experience, is organised and reliable, and enjoys working in a supportive team environment.

Its offices in Hobart are situated in the centre of the city close to the Commonwealth Law Courts and the Supreme Court of Tasmania. About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a varied conveyancing workload from start to finish, including:

• Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to settlement

• Preparing and reviewing contracts and related documentation

• Liaising with clients, agents, financial institutions and other stakeholders

• Conducting property searches and dealing with relevant authorities

• Preparing settlement figures and attending to settlement requirements

• Managing deadlines and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time

• Maintaining accurate file records and providing a high level of client service

• General conveyancing administration and file management
