We are a manufacturing business, developing and producing machinery for the Meat Industry, in Seven Hills, Sydney since 1945. We’re a small team, developing new products to expand our customer base, locally and internationally.

Most of our work is with stainless steel fabrication and machined parts, hydraulic systems, electric motors, circuitry for control boxes and their assembly.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an 5 to 10 years experienced Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The role primarily involves working on the assembly processes for a variety of machines that we produce. This requires an eye for accuracy to maintain the high standard of quality that we are known for, and focus on working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Be a qualified and experienced trades-person (Fitter)
• Experience with various power tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Have good verbal communication skills
• Have an excellent mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team

Additional desirable skills:

• Manual/Centre Lathe
• Manual Milling
• TIG Welding
• Forklift Licence

In conjunction with the above, the successful applicant must have a high level of initiative and a 'can do' attitude. Candidates must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as required.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
