Senior Structual Engineer

Aspect is a multidisciplined team (SMP E&I) with a strong track record of project delivery including design, construction, commissioning and operational support. Aspect provides services to a wide range of industries both nationally and internationally.

Aspect Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Perth team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering structural design solutions across major mining, resources, and heavy industrial projects.

About the Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering structural design packages including calculations, reports, specifications, and drawing inputs.

• Designing steel and reinforced concrete structures for mining and heavy industrial facilities.

• Coordinating interfaces between Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and SMP disciplines.

• Undertaking design reviews, checking, and verification activities prior to issue.

• Providing construction support, including responding to RFIs, site queries, and technical clarifications.

• Developing practical, safe, and constructable engineering solutions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 8 years' experience within mining, resources, or heavy industrial sectors.

• Strong capability in steel and reinforced concrete design.

• Solid knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry design practices.

• Excellent technical reporting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Australian working rights.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• CPEng and/or NER accreditation (or actively working towards).

• Experience using SpaceGass, Strand7, or similar structural analysis software.

• Site inspection and construction support experience.

• Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments.
