Enrolled Nurse - Casual

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, social support and medical assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Enrolled Nurses have a strong focus on clinical standards, promoting independence and building connections with residents in a community-style environment.     This is a casual role, helping our team on an ad-hoc basis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands!    Your Impact    Work independently within resident units to provide in-home nursing support, including medical assistance, wound care, personal hygiene and general daily support  Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans  Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as fellow team members, family members, paramedics or GPs   Complete administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date in our Care Management System (Alayacare)  Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents     What you'll bring    Minimum 12 months experience as an Enrolled Nurse, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing  Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment   Strong communication skills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents  Division 2 AHPRA registration, current CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)  Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (highly regarded)     What we offer    $48.58/hr including casual loading + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances   Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program  Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers  Annual flu vaccinations and skin checks  The opportunity to build meaningful, lasting connections with residents and contribute to our retirement community  A supportive, community-focused environment that enables a more flexible and relationship-driven style of care  The opportunity to work across our neighbouring communities   Who we are  As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
