Housekeeping (Cleaner/Laundry) - Aged Care

Pathways Residences is an Aged Care provider that look after elderly Australians in our community. Operating across Sydney, our Aged Care Home in Killara NSW 2071 is currently looking for Housekeeping (Cleaner/Laundry) team members to support the residence. casual and Part-time work available.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Being the forefront of sanitation and infection control, cleaning duties include the methodical cleaning of surfaces and areas throughout the facility. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, tidying areas and making sure surfaces are disinfected. Additional cleaning duties will also be allocated as per the needs of the site.

• $29.98/hour (Permanent rate) + annual leave + sick leave + picnic day + other leave entitlements + superannuation

• Additional penalty rates such as annual leave loading, weekend loading, public holiday loading etc - if working those days and times.

• Applicable allowances (e.g. uniform allowance, team leader allowance etc)

• Some weekend work available

Requirements:

• Current Police Check

• NDIS Worker Clearance

• Valid work visa required for non-Australian citizens and permanent residents

• Covid-19 vaccinated (3 Doses) and Influenza vaccinated

• Intermediate level English proficiency required for effective communication

• Previous cleaning experience in any setting is required
