About the role

TSSI is seeking a skilled and dedicated Signage Installation Specialist to join our team in Sunshine West, VIC.

This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality signage solutions to our clients. As a signage installation professional, you will be responsible for the precise installation, maintenance and removal of various types of signage across commercial and industrial sites. This role is essential to ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and that all installations meet safety standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain signage systems including external signs, internal displays and digital installations

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation of signage projects

• Prepare surfaces and install signage using appropriate tools, equipment and fastening systems

• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes and regulations

• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on site, adapting to varying environmental conditions

• Maintain detailed records of completed work and project timelines

• Work at heights using appropriate safety equipment and following all health and safety protocols

• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues

• Transport and organise signage materials and equipment to and from job sites

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in signage installation or related trades within the sign industry

• Sound knowledge of installation techniques, materials and safety procedures specific to signage work

• Competency in using hand and power tools relevant to signage installation

• Ability to work at heights and hold a current Working at Heights qualification or willingness to obtain one

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

• Reliable full driving licence with a clean record

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability on site

• Physical fitness and capability to lift and carry materials regularly

• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in signage installation are highly valued
