Rostering/Administration Officer- NDIS

About the role

An organised and proactive Rostering/Administration Officer to join the operations team. You'll be the backbone of day-to-day service delivery — building and maintaining support worker rosters, coordinating shift coverage, and ensuring participants receive consistent, reliable support.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage, and adjust staff rosters across SIL and SDA sites
• Coordinate shift swaps, leave cover, and last-minute vacancies
• Liaise with support workers, Service Managers, and participants/families
• Maintain accurate records in rostering and workforce systems
• Support onboarding and compliance checks for new starters (ID checks, clearances, qualifications)
• Assist with general administrative tasks: filing, correspondence, data entry
• Escalate roster gaps, incidents, or compliance issues promptly

About you

• Prior experience in rostering, scheduling, or administration (NDIS/disability/aged care highly regarded)
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident communicator, calm under pressure
• Proficient with rostering software and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of NDIS Practice Standards (desirable)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• National Police Clearance
• Right to work in Australia
