The NSW Health Pathology Wagga Wagga Laboratory is looking for motivated, vibrant and talented Medical Laboratory Assistants to support their Team, community and patients. The role involves blood collections, receiving and processing samples, data entry, supporting specimen logistics and transportation services, and general lab work.
Our busy Wagga Wagga Laboratory operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so flexibility to work a rotating roster, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays, is essential. Applications are welcomed from both experienced Laboratory Assistants and recent Science graduates looking to begin or advance a rewarding career in pathology.
What you'll be doing
Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform a range of pre analytical duties including pathology collections, receiving and triaging of specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
