Epworth Geelong | Multiple Opportunities Available

Are you a passionate and adaptable Registered Nurse looking to further your career in a dynamic surgical environment? Epworth Geelong is seeking motivated and experienced nurses to join our dedicated team, delivering exceptional patient care within our Surgical Ward.

Current opportunities include:

• 0.8 EFT Fixed-Term (Parental Leave Cover) until September 2027
• 0.8 EFT Fixed-Term (Parental Leave Cover) until June 2027
• 0.6 EFT Ongoing Position

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our surgical ward at Geelong which specialises in breast and endocrine, ENT, neurosurgery, plastics, vascular, hepatobiliary, colorectal, upper and lower GI, bariatric weight loss surgery, dental and ophthalmology.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse having previously worked in an acute surgical ward. You will be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes.  A strong communicator, you have a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with patients and their families.  You enjoy collaborating with team members to support the development and growth of the service.

A wide range of acute and chronic medical problems are treated with advanced care, technology and services by multidisciplinary teams. To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Minimum of 4 years experience in acute surgical nursing
• An excellent clinical understanding of surgical nursing care
• Well-developed proactive time management and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Commitment to your professional development
• The ability to work within a team focused environment

The annual salary range as at 1 July 2026 for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $85,732 - $107,669 + super + entitlements and Enrolled Nurses – AUD $75,737 - $82,550+ super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
