About the role
The Electrical Safety Office is recruiting for a Manager Supply and Networks. The responsibilities of role include the management of governance and oversight of electricity entities' safety management systems as well as activities to ensure regulatory compliance in the prescribed entities and auditor space.
The position will develop and deliver compliance programs and necessary interventions to ensure risks related to electrical assets are appropriately managed.
The role has a number of direct reports and leads a small team.
The Electrical Safety Office is looking for a Manager Supply and Networks to join the Supply Networks and Licensing Unit.
In this role you will work autonomously and lead a Supply and Networks team within the Electrical Safety Office in providing regulatory services to improve the electrical safety performance of the electricity transmission, distribution, and rail networks. You will be responsible for the management of governance and oversight of electricity entities' safety management systems as well as activities to ensure regulatory compliance in the prescribed entities and auditor space.
Key responsibilities include:
The role reports to the Director Supply Networks and Licensing. The person will be appointed as an inspector under the Electrical Safety Act 2002.
