About the Role We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Cabinetmaker to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. This position involves constructing, assembling, and installing high-end custom cabinetry and architectural joinery.
Key Responsibilities Plan & Examine Drawings: Read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine job requirements, dimensions, and materials needed. Factory Manufacturing & Assembly: Mark out, cut, shape, and assemble solid timber, veneers, and manufactured boards (MDF, particleboard, laminate) using hand tools and modern woodworking machinery.
Hardware & Fitting Installation: Fit hinges, drawer runners, locks, handles, and internal mechanisms precisely. Sub-assembly & Finishing: Prepare, sand, smooth, and join parts to form complete cabinetry units, architectural panels, and custom furniture. On-Site Installation: Transport, align, fit, and secure custom joinery on-site, ensuring precise tolerances, shadow lines, and flawless finishes.
Quality Assurance & Problem Solving: Inspect finished products for high-quality workmanship and resolve technical site or factory alignment challenges efficiently. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a qualified Cabinetmaker.
Qualification: Relevant formal qualification in Cabinetmaking (e.g., Certificate III in Cabinet Making / Trade Certificate) or equivalent recognized experience. Skills: Strong knowledge of cabinetry materials, hardware systems, and trade machinery.
Work Ethic & Details: An uncompromising eye for precision detail, safety, and professional delivery. Licence: Valid Driver's Licence. What
