The Opportunity

We are looking for one 1st Year Electrical Apprentice who wants to build a serious career in the electrical industry.

We aren't looking for someone who simply wants an apprenticeship. We want someone who wants to become an excellent electrician.

You'll work alongside experienced electricians on premium residential projects and be exposed to electrical, lighting and technology systems from the beginning of your apprenticeship.

There is plenty to learn and plenty of opportunity for someone who consistently performs.

What You'll Learn

• Complete new-home electrical installations from start to finish

• Architectural and feature lighting installations

• Switchboards, power, lighting and electrical systems

• Data and communications

• Home automation and Control4 systems

• CCTV, security and intercom systems

• Testing, fault finding and electrical safety

• How professional residential projects are organised and delivered

You need to be someone who:

• Has a strong work ethic and doesn't need to be constantly pushed

• Listens carefully and follows instructions

• Takes pride in doing things properly

• Has strong attention to detail

• Keeps tools, vehicles and worksites organised

• Is comfortable asking questions when you don't understand something

• Accepts feedback and wants to improve

• Communicates well with teammates, builders, other trades and clients

• Wants to learn and take on more responsibility as you develop

A completed electrical pre-apprenticeship is highly regarded but not essential. We would rather hire the right person with the right attitude and potential.

A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport are strongly preferred.

A Construction White Card will be required.
