St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School is expanding, and we are seeking a passionate classroom teacher to join our vibrant school community in 2027 on a fixed-term 0.6 maternity leave cover (Term 1-3, 2027 - Monday, Thursday and Friday). 

The school was opened in 2025 and the thriving school community has seen enrolment numbers substantially increase. With Stage 3 construction scheduled for completion early next year, we are preparing to welcome students from all year levels into our state-of-the-art learning environment in Wollert.

We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated teacher who is eager to contribute to building a strong and supportive school culture. The ideal candidate will be flexible, collaborative, and passionate about student learning.

Key Selection Criteria: 

- a commitment to the ethos and mission of Catholic education 
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or a willingness to obtain) 
- ability to plan, teach and assess evidence-based learning aligned to the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement
- high expectations for student learning, wellbeing and family partnerships 
- strong communication and collaboration skills 
- A knowledge and commitment to the Child Safe Standards
