PR, Social Media & Showroom Sales

About the role

As a permanent part time role you'll join Innerlight Sauna as a multi-skilled team member combining showroom sales, social media management, content creation and public relations. Based in our Camperdown showroom, you'll work Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, plus one agreed weekday. You'll work from the showroom independently on weekends, welcome customers, explain our sauna products and help them choose the right model. The showroom isn't constantly busy, giving you uninterrupted time to work on social media, content, PR, customer stories, reviews and our website. You'll take ownership of this varied role and find new ways to get Innerlight Sauna noticed.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the showroom, show them through different saunas, explain features and help them decide which model suits their needs

• Record every visitor, arrange quotes and follow up anyone who hasn't purchased

• Keep the showroom clean, organised and ready for customers and content filming

• Manage Innerlight Sauna's organic social media and create content including product walk-throughs, reels, short videos, posts, stories and captions

• Film product demonstrations, customer installations and other content in the showroom

• Respond to comments and basic social media enquiries and turn interested followers into showroom appointments and sales leads

• Repurpose content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube Shorts

• Find relevant media and podcast opportunities and develop interesting stories about Innerlight Sauna

• Prepare and send media pitches, build relationships with journalists, producers and podcast hosts, and coordinate interviews and media appearances

• Contact customers to request reviews, collect photographs and videos of their saunas, find customers willing to provide testimonials, and organise photography and video shoots at selected homes

• Help coordinate showroom visits and content with athletes, influencers, wellness professionals and other potential partners

• Ensure website information is accurate and current, including product dimensions, electrical requirements, heater numbers, materials, finishes, capacity, features, accessories and installation information

• Work with the technical team to confirm information before publishing and update product images, FAQs and comparison tables

About you

• Previous experience in social media marketing, content creation, or public relations.

• Practical experience in at least one of these areas; you may be stronger in social media or stronger in PR

• A confident and natural communicator

• Comfortable selling and following up customers

• Able to create and edit good smartphone video

• Comfortable calling customers, journalists and potential partners

• Organised and reliable

• Capable of working alone and managing your own time

• Interested in wellness, lifestyle and premium products

• Available every Saturday and Sunday

• Experience with Shopify, Canva, CapCut and Meta Business Suite would be helpful

• Initiative to see opportunities, suggest ideas and make them happen
