Associate ASP Level 3 Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Associate - ASP Level 3 to join our dedicated WSP Level 3 team. This leadership role is focused on the delivery of diverse utility and infrastructure projects across NSW and Australia, supporting key initiatives with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy.

As a recognised technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving project delivery, mentoring team members, strengthening client relationships, and growing WSP's ASP Level 3 capability. You will work alongside a highly skilled team delivering innovative and practical solutions that drive excellence across the utilities sector.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Membership with Engineers Australia and CPEng status, or a demonstrated pathway towards Chartership.
• Extensive ASP Level 3 design experience with a strong understanding of utility design, certification and approval processes.
• Thorough knowledge of Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy design standards, procedures and requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Neara, SER processes and software tools used for ASP Level 3 design.
• Strong technical capability in design safety, voltage drop calculations, earthing design, compliance documentation and network design.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary utility and infrastructure projects from concept through to delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality technical outcomes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering professionals.
• A track record of successful project delivery within utilities, power, energy or infrastructure environments.
• A passion for technical excellence, client service and helping grow a high-performing team.
