About the role
Red Nose is Australia’s leading authority on safe sleeping and safer pregnancy advice and has been a key provider of bereavement support following pregnancy, infant and child loss for over 40 years.
Our Research, Education and Prevention (REP) team designs and delivers high-quality educational programs and resources for parents, early childhood educators, and health professionals. Through evidence-based education and awareness initiatives, we aim to create meaningful change.
We’re looking for a passionate Education Delivery Lead to join our Research, Education and Prevention team. This role is central to delivering high-quality education programs across Australia and contributes to the development of resources that support safer sleeping environments.
You’ll deliver education sessions across a range of formats including face-to-face sessions, webinars and virtual delivery, while also representing Red Nose at Baby Expos nationally and supporting staff and volunteers participating in these events.
This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference as part of a passionate and supportive team helping to help save little lives and support families.
You are an empathetic and engaging educator with a passion for supporting families and reducing preventable infant deaths. You enjoy facilitating education sessions and creating positive learning experiences across both online and public-facing environments.
You may come from a background such as midwifery, maternal and child health, neonatal care or another relevant health or family support setting. While this is not a clinical role, experience supporting or educating new parents and families would be highly regarded.
With warmth, professionalism and confidence, you communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including parents, families, health professionals and members of the public. You are well organised, adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic environments. You enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team and contributing to positive education experiences.
You will need flexibility to work occasional evenings for webinars and lead Red Nose's presence at approximately 15 weekend Baby Expos across Australia each year, with expo schedules provided at the start of each year. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
