Senior Commercial Property Manager

About the Role

It requires intelligence, judgement, follow‑through and strong execution skills. You will not be asked to make major decisions, but you will be expected to identify issues, track actions, follow matters to completion and create accountability.

Core Responsibilities – Principal & Business Support

Supporting property or development projects, including:

• Reviewing sites

• Monitoring over/under‑budget items

• Obtaining alternative quotes for materials and finishes

Property & Portfolio Operations

Assist in managing a large and complex property portfolio, including all leasing, maintenance, compliance and operational matters.

The successful candidate would assist with:

• Lease renewals and lease administration

• Make‑good obligations

• Tenant liaison

• Contractor and trades coordination

• Obtaining, comparing and analysing quotes

• Maintenance tracking and follow‑up

• Monitoring vacancies and lease expiries

• Liaising with agents, lawyers and consultants

• Spreadsheet management and portfolio tracking

• Reducing the ongoing administrative and operational burden

Ideal Background & Skill Set

Experience that would translate well includes:

• Commercial property management

• Property-related legal exposure

• Development or construction administration

• Operations management

You must be comfortable with:

• Excel and spreadsheets

• Quotes, budgets and invoices

• Development costs and contractor management

• Leasing issues and basic reporting
