About the role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Business Assistant to provide front-of-house and administrative support across the business. This role will act as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming enquiries, while also supporting our Finance and Accounts team with a range of administrative and transactional tasks. The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Provide support to the Finance and Accounts team with Accounts Payable administration, including invoice processing, payment processing, data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Manage the reception area and act as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
• Coordinate office and hospitality needs, including meeting room setup, catering, kitchen and stationery supplies, and liaison with cleaning contractors
• Support the wider team with general administrative tasks and assist in organising company events and activities
• Assist with debtor management, including receipting, reporting and responding to supplier and customer accounts enquiries

This role will be office-based in our office in Sydney Markets (Homebush West, NSW). This is a casual position, initially expected to be required on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, for approximately six months. Following this initial period, the hours will be reviewed, with the potential to reduce to 3–5 days per week, depending on business requirements.

• Experience in a receptionist, administration or office support role
• Experience with accounts, such as processing invoices (desirable)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with your duties
