Fuel It delivers reliable diesel refuelling services and compliant fuel storage equipment to construction, civil, and industrial businesses across South East Queensland. We are a locally owned and operated business based in Archerfield, servicing job sites throughout the SEQ.
Our reputation is built on reliability, compliance, and straightforward service. When our clients need fuel, they need it on time, every time. We are looking for a Refuelling Operator who takes that same pride in getting the job done right.
The Role
As a Refuelling Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of diesel to client sites across our service area. You will operate a Fuel It tanker, refuel plant and machinery on site, and maintain accurate records of every delivery.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently across a range of construction, civil, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Fuel It fuel tanker to deliver diesel to client sites safely and on schedule
- Refuel plant, machinery, generators, and on-site storage tanks
- Complete accurate proof-of-delivery records for every job
- Carry out daily pre-start vehicle checks and report any maintenance requirements
- Follow all site inductions, traffic management, and safe work procedures
- Maintain compliance with dangerous goods handling and storage requirements
- Communicate clearly with the office and clients regarding schedules and any site access issues
- Keep the vehicle and equipment clean, presentable, and well maintained
Requirements
- Current MR (Medium Rigid) licence
- Dangerous Goods (DG) licence, or willingness to obtain
- Safe loading and handling experience, ideally with fuel or bulk liquids
- Strong understanding of on-site safety and a commitment to working safely
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record
Experience in fuel delivery, bulk liquid transport, or servicing construction and civil sites will be highly regarded.
