About the Role

As a Customer Relationship Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers with overdue accounts while developing valuable industry skills:

• Optimise a portfolio of overdue accounts from Australian institutions
• Contact customers via inbound & outbound calls to discuss outstanding balances
• Use modern tools and systems and apply skip tracing techniques to locate and support customers
• Work with customers to understand their situation and negotiate realistic repayment solutions
• Maintain accurate records and operate within strict compliance and regulatory guidelines
• Build rapport while handling sensitive financial conversations professionally
• Work towards achievable targets in a supportive, team-driven environment

Skills & Experience:

• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Emotional intelligence/empathy when dealing with customers
• Resilience – you can handle challenging conversations in high volume call centre environment
• Motivation to achieve targets and grow your earnings
• Attention to detail, data accuracy, and willingness to learn compliance requirements
