THE POSITION

As one of the most loved members of our team, you’ll brighten everyone’s day with your exceptional coffee and beverage-making skills, all while delivering top-notch service with your warm, positive, and professional demeanour.

As a valued member of our Front of House team at Haven Wholefoods and our Organic Wholefoods Restaurant, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, providing barista services, preparing smoothies, delivering floor service, assisting with cleaning, and handling general administrative duties.

This role operates on a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends. Weekday shifts are staggered, with morning shifts scheduled between 5:00am and 3:00pm and afternoon/evening shifts between 1:00pm until 9:30pm. Weekend shifts vary and fall between 6:30am to 7:30pm. Weekend availability is required!

Haven Wholefoods is a vibrant organic eatery offering breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, with take-home meals and catering options available. We’re a cornerstone of the Saint Haven member experience, and we also serve as a sophisticated, delicious destination for locals in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent hospitality services by serving food, coffee, tea, and other beverages

• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor while engaging with Saint Haven members and guests, proactively suggesting menu items and beverages

• Assist members and guests with any questions about our food and beverage offerings

• Educate members on our diverse range of products and services to inspire them on their wellness journey

• Interact with members and guests in a respectful, calm, and professional manner

• Anticipate and cater to the preferences and needs of our members

• Always present yourself in a neat, tidy, and professional manner

• Follow daily checklists to ensure cleanliness and high standards in all areas

• Collaborate and build strong working relationships with your teammates

• Oversee the general cleanliness and tidiness of the restaurant

• Foster a positive and inviting atmosphere for members and guests

• Complete opening and closing tasks efficiently
