Delivery Van Driver - Casual - Immediate Start

Stateline Freight is a specialist provider of high-value freight services throughout Australia. We operate a modern fleet of commercial vans, prime movers and rigid trucks, providing reliable and professional transport solutions to our customers.

We are currently seeking a fit, motivated and well-presented Permanent Casual Van Delivery Driver to join our team at our Rosebery Depot.

The role involves deliveries throughout metro and regional areas of Sydney, with a strong focus on providing reliable, professional and customer-focused service.

A minimum of 3 years’ van driving experience is essential.

About the Role

As a Van Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

·         Safely and efficiently delivering freight to customers across Sydney metro and regional areas.

·         Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements.

·         Safely loading and unloading freight from company vehicles.

·         Completing delivery documentation and using electronic sign-on-glass technology.

·         Providing friendly, professional and high-quality customer service.

·         Maintaining a clean and presentable company vehicle.

·         Carrying out basic checks and ensuring company equipment is well maintained.

·         Working safely and in accordance with company procedures and requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional and takes pride in providing excellent service.

The successful applicant will have:

·         A current Australian driver’s licence.

·         Minimum 3 years’ van driving experience.

·         A satisfactory driving history and willingness to provide a copy of your driving record.

·         Recent multi-drop delivery experience, preferably in a time-sensitive environment.

·         Excellent customer service skills.

·         Good written and verbal communication skills.

·         A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

·         The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·         Flexibility to work additional hours when required to cover leave.

·         A strong commitment to safety.

·         The ability to provide a current National Police Check/Police Report.

·         Experience within the healthcare or medical freight industry would be highly regarded.
