We are seeking an experienced Chef to train our kitchen staff. The successful candidate will train our kitchen staff in authentic Japanese cuisine & sushi preparation and quality control techniques. They will also be required to propose creative ideas for new course menu. This role requires an energetic approach to delivering high-quality Japanese cuisine. This is a fixed-term position for six months. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Teaching the staff how to select high-quality seafood from local suppliers
• Inspecting ingredients and dishes to ensure high-quality standards
• Training the staff in authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation and quality control techniques
• Training the staff to comply with health and safety regulations relevant to sushi and seafood preparation
• Overseeing all stages of food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation.
• Reviewing and improving our existing menu based on seasonal trends, customer preferences and costs
• Proposing a new set-course menu based on his expertise
