Industrial Electrician - MCC, Conveyors & Automation

Crossmuller is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Somersby manufacturing team. You'll be involved in the build, wiring and testing of Motor Control Centres (MCCs), control panels, conveyor systems and industrial automation equipment used across a range of industries.

What you’ll do

• Building and wiring MCCs, switchboards and control panels

• Wiring and testing conveyor and materials handling systems

• Electrical assembly of automated machinery and equipment

• Interpreting electrical schematics and drawings

• Fault finding and troubleshooting

• Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

• Supporting installation and commissioning projects when required

About You

• Electrical Trade Qualification

• Experience with MCCs, switchboards or control panel wiring

• Experience with conveyors, industrial machinery or automation equipment

• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control circuits

• Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000

• Current Driver Licence and White Card

• Takes pride in quality workmanship and safe work practices

Desirable

• PLC and industrial automation experience

• Robotics or automated equipment exposure

• VSD and motor control experience

• Working at Heights, EWP or Confined Space tickets

• CPR / Low Voltage Rescue
