Hastings Heavy Vehicle Repairs is a 11 year old family-owned heavy vehicle repair centre on the beautiful Mid North Coast. We're looking for a skilled Light/Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our close-knit, friendly team.

What you'll be doing:

• Servicing, inspecting, and maintaining trucks and trailers

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

• Carrying out mechanical repairs to a high standard

• Keeping accurate service and maintenance records

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop

• Working confidently both independently and as part of a team

What we're looking for:

• Trade qualification as a Light/Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

• Solid experience with trucks and trailers (essential)

• HVAIS qualification (highly regarded, not essential)

• HR licence (highly regarded, not essential)

• welding/fabrication skills (highly regarded, not essential)

• A genuine commitment to WHS/OH&S standards

• A reliable, honest, hardworking attitude

• Confidence to work unsupervised once fully qualified
